Glamping in Scotland is becoming more and more popular and Marthrown of Mabie is ideally situated in the heart of Mabie Forest, Dumfries and Galloway providing a selection of unique and unusual styles of accommodation, catering for groups of any type or size.
Marthrown of Mabie features an Iron Age Celtic Roundhouse, Yurt Glamping, an American style Tipi, a secluded Bunkhouse, and Rustic Camping area. It is ideal for ‘Glamping’ or partying in this picturesque corner of Southern Scotland – come and take a look around; you will find “Simply Something Different”.
Dog Friendly Accommodation
We are a dog-friendly accommodation site. There are several resident pets on site, and also lots of wildlife to see throughout the forest. Your canine friends are welcome to stay anywhere on site, in any of the accommodation facilities.
Whether you are Yurt Glamping, staying in the Tipi, partying in the Celtic Roundhouse, using Marthrown as a party venue, here for an Outdoor wedding, staying in the Cottages or in the Camping area we look forward to meeting them shortly.
